 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actress. She came to prominence for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from the year 2020. Commercial appearances weren't the only thing she was involved in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot TV series for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At two years of age her parents and she immigrated to the U.S. as refugees to get away from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. She started performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, because of her family's financial problems. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School, however, she quit in her sophomore year. She she was able to get an GED and went to complete an Associate of Arts in Communication from University of California, San Diego.
